Sandvik Process Systems and Sandvik Surface Solutions at WMF Beijing
17 Dec 09
March 10-13, 2010
Hall 3, Stand J02
Steel belt and press plate manufacturer Sandvik Process Systems will use WMF fair to highlight the customer benefits of product innovation backed up by local support and service.
As a company with more than 100 years’ experience of serving the wood and associated industries, Sandvik has developed a comprehensive range of steel belts for the wood-based panels industry and press plates and endless press belt surfaces for the laminating and melamine coating industry.
Behind this product offering is a focus on technical expertise, customer service and corporate stability that is central to Sandvik’s approach to the market. The company places particular emphasis on the value of its customer seminars and other local support processes, all designed to maximize productivity as the industry begins to emerge from a difficult last 12-18 months.
Key messages will include the fact that Sandvik steel belts can now be produced up to 3.5 mm thick, and that significant savings in downtime – and bottom line costs – can be achieved through the Sandvik QuickExpert service.
On the Surface Solutions side of the business, Sandvik will show samples from its SteelArt collection, launched earlier this year at the company’s major new in-house design facility. SteelArt includes a number of innovative new surface textures and finishes for the laminate and melamine coating industries, as well as the latest developments on existing designs that have already enjoyed significant market success.
